Florel is used to increase lateral branching and reduce internode elongation. Allow 6 weeks or more from the last treatment to the desired bloom date to allow for the delay in flower initiation that occurs. Some of the crops successfully treated to increase branching include: garden mums, fuchsia, geraniums, verbena, vinca vine and many more. For most uses the rate is 500 ppm, 1.6 oz per gallon or 160 oz per 100 gallons. Several bulb crops are treated with Florel to reduce elongation, see the label for the various rates and application strategies.
